ATTRACTED represents the earth and fertility, reminiscent of mythic Gods and cultural icons. The expectant couple connects by their mouths to symbolize oneness with their child. I use one of my favorite color palettes, earth tones, which include browns, tans, and blues to create the couple and their relationship to reality and spirit. The black outlines, which is representational of my work gives a three-dimensional sense, stressed by white spaces.
