Mixed media artist and illustrator Jen Jovan finds malarkey everywhere. She paints it into whimsical girls, moody abstracts and soulful creatures. The journey of her own life (former banking executive and business consultant – so serious and grown up) juxtaposes a riot of color, texture and play .
The foundation of her work is experimentation, discipline, repetition, tenacity, intuition and exploration, along with paint, pen and paper. Her paintings live in collections around the world, and her workshops help others find their creative inner wild child. Walls writes an introspective (and sometimes humorous) blog to accompany each painting. Her artwork appears in the books becoming SUNRISE, Blue Wild, The 100 Love Notes Project, A Special Day and The Storyteller’s Apprentice, with written work in A Christmas in Listowel.
