I have spent the majority of my life exploring the great outdoors. I’ve had the pleasure of residing in some of the most beautiful mountainous areas in the country; the California Sierras, the tropical peaks of Kauai, and now the Colorado Rockies. I work primarily with oil paint and palette knife to achieve an impressionistic impasto style. I prefer to paint plein air, and I draw my inspiration from time spent in nature and moments of spiritual reflection. I am also heavily influenced by my experience in printmaking and sculpture. My exposure to contemporary and conceptual art has added meditative aspects to my newest work.
